The Toastmasters Club was established in the beginning of 2000.
During the period 2005 - 2011 the Sofia Toastmasters club was sponsored by the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, and subsequently bore the name "AmCham Toastmasters Club".
During the period 2011 - 2016 the Sofia Toastmasters club was sponsored by Vivacom, and subsequently bore the name "Vivacom Sofia Toastmasters Club".

The Toastmasters Club organizes its regular meetings biweekly – every second and forth Wednesday of the month. The club is open for everyone willing to improve and develop his/her leadership and communication skills.

Yes. We are an open club and welcome anyone who wishes to attend a meeting and see what we do.
We try and stick to English but if you want to show off your fluent Mandarin or Swahili, we'll probably give you a chance.
A working level of English is required for you to be able to understand and participate in the meeting. Once you join the club, though, your language skills can only improve.
No. You can attend our meetings free of charge (so really, there is no excuse for you not to do it).
No. Once you decide to become a member, you will be required to pay a one-off new member fee, along with the regular club membership fees.
Our members pay a membership fee of $100/per year (paid in two halves of $50 in March and September). All new members are required to pay a one-off fee of $20 for joining. This fee covers the cost of our online education system Pathways.
Yes. We are a very fancy club so formal wear is mandatory. Ok, we're kidding. We don't really have a dresscode and we won't ridicule you for your fashion choices.
